About The Valdez-Namnama Family
Site History
My name is Edd (many relatives probably know me as King-king). I made this tribalpages site to keep track of my family who are on the brink of branching out a new generation as the roots of the family tree grow longer and surnames included increase exponentially. I do this especially for my grand(^n)children who I know would lose the knowledge of their genealogy as my generation had. To the people included in this tree: I am trying my best to include pictures for everyone for the better of this reference so I'm including all sources I could get my hands on. Sorry if some pictures here do not appear as.. satisfactory.. as you would want it. I would appreciate it if you'd contact me for the better of our family tree. You can email me at eddraymundvaldez@gmail.com to share your birthdays, and other family information you'd like to share. The Valdez-Namnama Tree
The Ilocano Valdez line of the family rooted from Tarlac when patriarch Silverio Valdez moved to Palawan for a job opportunity and met wife Rosario there. The couple had 4 daughters and 6 sons, the youngest of which is Edwin. The Namnama roots were a Cebuano-speaking couple from Mindanao. Martin, a native of Cagayan de Oro, settled with wife Antonia in Davao and had 8 children, one of which was Edith.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
